Job summary

Goldman Sachs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the CTL initiative in New York, NY. You will help migrate the global Equities trading business to a cloud-native Consolidated Trade Ledger platform, leveraging AI tools to govern coding agents and accelerate the SDLC.

You will design, build, and operate high-availability services, work with AI-assisted development tools, and collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions for a 24x7 trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high-availability, multi-region, cloud-native services with security and observability built in at every layer.
• Develop event-driven architectures, multi-stage processing pipelines, and optimized data paths for high-throughput trade lifecycle management.
• Partner with engineers, domain experts, and global stakeholders to understand, model, and digitize business processes across teams.
• Manage the full lifecycle of software components from requirements to release in line with Agile best practices.
• Innovate solutions to complex problems, building reusable capabilities across front, middle, and back office functions.
• Multiply impact with a modern, AI-centric toolchain to rapidly comprehend codebases and accelerate delivery.
