Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and operate production infrastructure at scale, spanning AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC tooling. You will partner with software engineers and SREs to improve release velocity while maintaining reliability and security.

You will design highly available AWS environments, automate pipelines, and contribute to incident response and postmortems, turning production lessons into durable platform improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or related infra roles.
• Hands-on AWS production workloads: EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch.
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker experience with deployment, discovery, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC and automated workflows.
• Solid Linux, networking, security fundamentals, Git, and CI/CD design.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or information systems; bonus Go/Python and incident-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain highly available AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Operate Kubernetes-based services, incl. cluster config, Helm, ingress, autoscaling, secrets.
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry.
• Automate operational workflows with Python, Go, or Bash.
• Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident investigations, and document runbooks.
