Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Migration Architect on a fully funded program on our Columbia, MD site. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and hands-on leadership of AI-enabled infrastructure projects.

You will guide engineering teams in deploying CDN infrastructure with Terraform, craft robust AI prompts for secure IaC, and shape best practices for prompt engineering across platforms. This position sits on a mission-focused program in the Intelligence Community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 12 years of system engineering and cloud architecture experience.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering for AI-driven infrastructure.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams in leveraging AI tools to design, generate, and deploy CDN infrastructure using Terraform
• Formulate and refine complex AI prompts to consistently produce secure and optimized Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality and efficiency while adjusting prompting strategies to account for model hallucinations and limitations
• Establish best practices, standardized workflows, and review processes regarding AI interaction and prompt engineering
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architectural requirements and translate them into effective AI directives

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 12 years of experience in system engineering and cloud architecture
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, including the nuances, capabilities, and limitations of modern LLMs
• Practical experience utilizing Terraform for resource deployment based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Experience reviewing, validating, and debugging AI-generated code or infrastructure configurations for production environments
• Knowledge of Content Delivery Network (CDN) concepts and cloud-based hosting environments such as Cloudflare
