Job summary

Visionist, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure) to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure for AI model inference at scale.

You will support production AI services, including RAG and autonomous agents, while driving adoption of new technologies across engineering teams. You will implement robust monitoring, logging, and observability, automate provisioning with IaC, and ensure reliability and security across AI platform components.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree).
  • 8 years of experience in software development and production systems at scale.
  • Experience with high-volume web applications and performance optimization.
  • Strong background in systems integration across diverse technologies and platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud engineering.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes administration and deployment patterns.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience implementing observability solutions (APM, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
