UJET is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Infrastructure in the United States to lead production GCP and Kubernetes infrastructure for our cloud-native SaaS platform. You will guide senior and staff engineers, define technical strategy, and own reliability, security, and cost efficiency of the cloud environment.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience in cloud infrastructure or related fields.
• 3+ years of people management experience, including coaching and performance management.
• Hands-on experience designing, provisioning, operating, and troubleshooting production cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, DNS, load balancing).
• Experience leading complex infrastructure migrations, upgrades, or changes.

Aufgaben

• Hire, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team of senior and staff engineers.
• Own the strategy and evolution of the cloud environment (GCP, networking, Kubernetes, provisioning).
• Provide technical direction for GCP organization, project architecture, and service connectivity.
• Own the Kubernetes/GKE production infrastructure including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Set standards for Terraform modules, state management, and automated validation.
• Establish and evolve infrastructure security foundations (IAM, secrets, controls).
• Ensure observability capabilities (metrics, logging, tracing) across infra.
• Drive cloud cost efficiency through architecture and optimization.
• Lead major upgrades or migrations with testing, rollout, and rollback plans.
• Collaborate with Platform, SRE, Security, and application teams to define ownership boundaries.
