Zusammenfassung

UJET is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure to lead a skilled team responsible for production GCP and Kubernetes platforms powering our cloud-native SaaS offerings. You will craft and execute strategy for GCP architecture, networking, Kubernetes operations, IAM, and cost optimization, while ensuring reliability and security.

You will guide senior engineers, drive architecture reviews, and own upgrade and migration plans with minimal blast radius.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with production ownership.
• Proven leadership of senior and staff engineers.
• Hands-on Terraform experience with reusable modules, remote state, automation, and Git-based workflows.
• Deep knowledge of GCP networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewall rules, DNS, and load balancing.
• Strong collaboration and influence across engineering, security, product, and exec stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to guide complex technical decisions.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a high-performing Cloud Infrastructure team of senior and staff engineers.
• Define technical strategy and execution priorities for GCP, Kubernetes, IAM, and Terraform.
• Own reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency of the cloud environment.
• Translate complex infrastructure challenges into clear plans, safe changes, and measurable outcomes.
• Guide implementation and review of Terraform modules, remote state, and infrastructure patterns.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and product teams to define ownership boundaries.
• Oversee migrations and upgrades with testing plans, rollback strategies, and risk control.
• Establish security primitives, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security controls.
• Build observability foundations: metrics, logging, tracing, and monitoring.
