Job summary

Egen is a fast-growing cloud engineering company delivering Google Cloud Platform solutions with a data-first mindset. We are looking for senior cloud engineers to lead the implementation and operation of scalable, secure cloud architectures across projects.

You will design and deploy cloud infrastructure, connect cloud and on-prem environments securely, and enforce strong IAM, security controls, and observability practices to ensure reliability and security across the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or platform architecture.
• Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
• Proven experience with cloud-native security controls and IAM.
• Strong background in CI/CD and automated deployment practices.
• Experience with cloud observability and incident-response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and operationalization of cloud solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure including networking, compute, storage, and identity.
• Implement secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments using Network Connectivity Center, Partner Interconnect, and HA VPN.
• Establish cloud security posture using Cloud NGFW Enterprise, Cloud IDS, Cloud Armor, and identity controls.
• Implement access boundaries and data protection guardrails using VPC Service Controls and IAM policies.
• Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic capabilities for platform reliability.
