Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle, WA is seeking a seasoned supply chain professional to lead root cause analyses, measure performance, and drive end-to-end improvement initiatives across the build plan and related processes.

You will collaborate with Build Plan, Landing Plan, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to implement data-driven changes that improve reliability and operational efficiency. A strong background in RCA and data analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• Experience with root cause analysis and error correction, identifying changes to procedures and systems to implement long-term fixes.
• Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning concepts (demand planning, capacity planning, material planning, SIOP/IBP).
• 7+ years of supply chain, operations, program management, or technical project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Root Cause Analysis & Investigation: Conduct structured root cause analyses (RCAs) on build plan misses — investigating material availability, capacity constraints, vendor delivery, and other inputs that drive the 13-week build horizon.
• Performance Measurement & Metrics: Develop and maintain performance metrics that track build plan adherence (racks planned vs. racks built per week), assumption accuracy, and supply chain input reliability.
• Improvement Initiatives: Own and drive improvement initiatives end-to-end — from problem identification through solution design, implementation, and impact measurement.
