Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to plan, coordinate and manage allocations of infrastructure components across multiple manufacturers and suppliers in Seattle. You will forecast demand, manage inventory, and work with suppliers to ensure timely supply while driving cost efficiency.

You will develop analytical tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor SLAs and supply chain health, collaborating with Analytics and Software teams to push for automation and better decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
• Experience with procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations.
• Experience in global supply chain management and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics company.

Responsibilities

• Forecast generation and demand planning.
• Allocations of AWS material from inventory hubs to suppliers.
• Requirement and Specification reviews with Hardware Engineering.
• Ocean, air, and ground transportation planning.
• Supply heatmap generation.
• Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics and report findings.
• Produce written recommendations and insights to inform stakeholders.
