Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks engineers for the Intelligence team to operate and troubleshoot the world’s largest cloud infrastructure for U.S. Government agencies. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and willingness to work nights or weekends as part of a 24/7 on-call schedule.

You will diagnose issues, automate operational tasks, and ensure high availability of complex distributed systems while delivering stellar customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with Linux/Unix administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris, etc.)
• 1-3 years of experience with Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)
• 1-3 years of experience with Troubleshooting / Support for technical IT issues
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Dives deep to identify root causes of issues and automate improvements.
• Operate and troubleshoot 24/7 cloud infrastructure for government workloads.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure high availability and performance of services.
