Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks engineers to join a 24/7 operations team supporting U.S. Government cloud infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex systems, identify root causes, and help automate operational tasks to ensure high availability and performance.

The role requires Linux/Unix administration, networking experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Some night or weekend work may be required as part of a shift-based schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related IT certifications.
• 1–3 years in Linux/Unix system administration.
• 1–3 years in Networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
• 1–3 years in IT issue troubleshooting and support.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (with polygraph) required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and provide operations support for complex systems.
• Investigate root causes and address operational risks.
• Collaborate to automate operational processes and improve reliability.
• Support 24/7 shift work, including nights/weekends.
