Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group seeks a mid-level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. You will design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions across private, public, and hybrid environments.

The successful candidate will migrate, scale, automate, and secure cloud networks while collaborating with stakeholders and platform teams to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of directly related experience.
• Must understand cloud delivery models (IAAS, SAAS, PAAS).
• Must have experience with enterprise server OS (RHEL 7/8, Windows Server 2019+).
• Must have experience with implementing Cybersecurity best practices.
• Must have DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.
• Must have an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in migrating functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions.
• Build infrastructure automation to ensure rapid delivery of system and application updates.
• Liaise with stakeholders to determine growth plans and monitor usage.
• Ensure cloud network security, fault tolerance, disaster recovery and compliance.
