Blackstone Talent Group seeks a mid-level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. You will design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions across private, public, and hybrid environments.

The successful candidate will migrate, scale, automate, and secure cloud networks while collaborating with stakeholders and platform teams to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of directly related experience.
• Must understand cloud delivery models (IAAS, SAAS, PAAS).
• Must have experience with enterprise server OS (RHEL 7/8, Windows Server 2019+).
• Must have experience with implementing Cybersecurity best practices.
• Must have DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.
• Must have an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Description of Duties:

The Mid-level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in either Huntsville, AL OR Colorado Springs, CO. The candidate will:

Specialize in migrating functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. In doing so, will give organizations and business partners the freedom and flexibility to maximize their productivity while achieving additional cost savings to the MDA. Design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions. Identify appropriate cloud providers. Ensure the cloud network is properly sized and responsive to user demands. Scale cloud services to serve growing demands. Liaise with business owners and/or stakeholders to determine growth plans. Monitor usage of cloud network. Implement effective security strategies on cloud networks. Implement fault tolerance, disaster recovery and failover capabilities. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines. Build infrastructure automation to ensure rapid delivery of system and application updates. Carry out testing and fine-tuning to ensure optimal efficiency. Provide architectural vision, strategy & roadmap and work with Engineers and Platform Operations staff to operationalize technology solutions.

The successful candidate will: Have strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Basic Requirements:
