Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise cloud platforms across Azure, Azure Government, and AWS. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure, Azure Government, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux in enterprise contexts.
• Familiarity with Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, IAM, SAML, and related authentication services.
• Understand networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
• Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP, ITAR).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across Azure, Azure Government, and AWS.
• Maintain Windows Server, Linux, cloud, and hybrid platforms for stability, performance, and security.
• Administer and troubleshoot Entra ID, AD, SSO, IAM, SAML and related services.
• Support enterprise apps, databases, and business-critical platforms with high availability.
• Collaborate with security, networking, database, and app teams to meet requirements.
• Monitor health, performance, security, and availability; identify risks and improvements.
• Lead cloud modernization, migrations, automation, and digital transformation.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and cloud-native tools.
• Evaluate AI-enabled solutions (Copilot, Azure AI) to streamline operations.
• Create and maintain technical docs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in on-call and incident response as required.
