Job summary

Raydar in San Francisco is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own and run cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and security controls. You will work hands-on to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud environments across two regions and ensure cost efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of hands-on cloud/DevOps experience, familiarity with AWS, and strong IaC skills using Terraform or CloudFormation. This is an on-site, full-time role in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability experience.
• Experience designing and running production CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on history of creating a cloud environment in a young company, not inherited.
• Experience operating production systems on AWS, including compute, networking, identity, storage and databases.
• Infrastructure as code experience in production with a common tool.

Responsibilities

• Design, refactor and maintain build and deployment pipelines across two cloud environments.
• Set up cloud architecture and security controls, including access policies, network isolation, encryption, and logging.
• Codify environments as infrastructure definitions and implement observability and runbooks.
• Set up networking and access for internal compute resources.
• Improve performance, availability and cloud cost efficiency, and support security reviews.
