Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related STEM field.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of server hardware and components.
• Experience with simulation and 3D modeling software.
• Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data analysis or automation.
• Coursework or hands-on project experience in hardware engineering domains (thermal, mechanical, power, signal integrity, PCB, reliability, manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Support thermal, mechanical, electrical, or reliability analysis and design of server hardware.
• Perform design simulation (thermal, structural, signal integrity, or power).
• Validate hardware and debug issues at the board, system, or rack level.
• Develop and execute test plans for hardware qualification and reliability.
• Characterize materials and components for server applications.
• Support PCB schematic and layout reviews.
• Develop automated test tools and data analysis methods.
• Travel to support engineering builds at manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, software, and manufacturing.
