Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Cupertino is seeking a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to define server architectures for AI/ML workloads and drive validation from PCBA bring-up through fleet deployment.

You will lead ODM/JDM partners, triage issues across manufacturing and datacenters, and own fleet quality metrics post-launch. The role requires deep experience across silicon packaging, power delivery, thermal/mechanical design, and high-speed interconnects, with a track record of end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• 7+ years hardware design and development experience for server/compute platforms.
• Experience with thermal/mechanical design, power delivery, or signal integrity.
• Experience leading hardware development through full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define server architectures based on workload demand and translate into specs.
• Drive validation from PCBA bring-up through fleet deployment and triage issues.
• Lead ODM/JDM partners through development and production ramps.
• Own fleet quality metrics and drive design improvements post-launch.
