Job summary

Amazon Web Services in Austin, TX, is looking for an internship candidate to join Annapurna Labs, working on hardware and software for ML accelerators and cloud-scale systems. You’ll learn by building, take ownership early, and contribute to projects that reach customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a final graduation date of May 2027 or earlier
• Coursework or project experience in digital logic design and computer architecture
• Familiarity with a hardware description language (Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL)
• Understanding of fundamental digital design concepts: combinational and sequential logic, timing, and clocking

Responsibilities

• Support design, bring-up, and validation of hardware systems
• Develop firmware or low-level software interfacing with hardware
• Debug hardware–software integration issues in the lab using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bench equipment
• Write and run tests to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with ASIC, systems, and software teams to take hardware from design through deployment
• Document your work and present findings to the team
