Job summary

Annapurna Labs, the hardware division within Amazon, offers a hands-on internship focused on designing, bringing up, and validating hardware systems and subsystems. You’ll interface with firmware, low-level software, and test teams.

Working across engineering disciplines, you’ll gain exposure to debugging hardware issues, writing test plans, and collaborating to deploy hardware solutions at scale in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS or related field with graduation May 2027 or earlier.
• Coursework or project experience in digital logic design and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Understanding of digital design concepts: combinational/sequential logic, FSMs, timing and clocking.

Responsibilities

• Support design, bring-up, and validation of hardware systems.
• Develop firmware or low-level software interfacing with hardware.
• Debug hardware-software integration with lab equipment.
• Write and run tests to validate hardware functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with ASIC, systems, and software teams from design to deployment.
