Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a hardware-focused intern to contribute to Annapurna Labs projects. You’ll work on ML servers, silicon through software, and collaborate across teams to match your interests with a real project.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, firmware, lab debugging, and test automation while learning in a fast-paced environment. Graduation targeted by May 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with graduation by May 2027 or earlier.
• Coursework or projects in digital logic design and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with HDL (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL).
• Understanding of digital design concepts: combinational/sequential logic, FSMs, timing, clocking.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design, bring-up, and validation of hardware systems.
• Develop firmware or low-level software interfacing with hardware.
• Debug hardware–software integration in the lab using test equipment.
• Write and run tests to validate hardware functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with ASIC, systems, and software teams from design to deployment.
• Document work and present findings to the team.
