Job summary

Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. in Austin, TX, seeks a Platform Development Engineer to own a cloud ML server platform within the AWS fleet. You will maximize fleet health, automation, and customer experience through end-to-end testing and data-driven improvements.

The role involves debugging complex hardware/software issues, developing scalable automation, and collaborating with hardware and software teams to scale operations across global servers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of networking, storage, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, OS).
• Experience with languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience debugging and systems analysis to identify and mitigate issues.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or EE.

Responsibilities

• Member of a team responsible for remediation and operational excellence on ML products.
• Root cause hardware failures using data and live trends.
• Implement and improve system testing across the product lifecycle.
• Develop maintainable, well-documented, testable software.
• Dive deep on hardware-software intersection issues.
