Job summary

Amazon's Annapurna Labs seeks an hardware-focused engineering intern to assist with design, bring-up, and validation of scalable hardware systems. You will work on firmware interfaces, debug HW/SW issues, and contribute to tests that validate performance and reliability across compute platforms.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science degrees with strong logic design and HDL familiarity, and are ready to collaborate across ASIC, systems, and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with May 2027 or earlier graduation.
• Coursework or project experience in digital logic design and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with hardware description languages (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL).
• Understanding of fundamental digital design concepts: combinational and sequential logic, timing, and clocking.

Responsibilities

• Supporting design, bring-up, and validation of hardware systems and subsystems.
• Developing firmware or low-level software that interfaces with hardware.
• Debugging hardware-software integration issues in the lab with test equipment.
• Writing and running tests to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborating with ASIC, systems, and software teams from design to deployment.
• Documenting work and presenting findings to the team.
