Job summary

Empower LLC in the United States is seeking a Lead Analyst, Cloud Financial Operations to manage financial reporting for enterprise data platforms, budgets, forecasts, and cost visibility across cloud spend.

You will partner with technology and finance teams to consolidate data from multiple sources, analyze variances, and deliver actionable dashboards and models that guide cost control and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud FinOps or financial management for cloud/data platforms.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, run rates, contracts, and cost reporting.
• Familiarity with AWS or other major cloud platforms and cloud cost management.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting for enterprise data platforms, including budgets, expenses, forecasts, run rates and cost metrics.
• Build and maintain inventory of platform expenses, cloud usage, contracts and renewals for visibility.
• Analyze spending vs budget, identify variances, provide insights on drivers.
• Monitor cloud costs (AWS focus) to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop dashboards and financial models to inform business and technology leaders.
