Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Services Analyst to collect and analyze data for cloud financial insights within the Infrastructure and Operations team. You will produce reports for multi-cloud platforms, collaborate with global teams, and support FinOps with KPIs and data modeling.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBMCloud), and a background in IT finance or analytics. This full-time role is based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, management information systems, data analytics.
• 5+ years of IT experience in IT Finance, Business Analytics or Project Management.
• Strong analytical background with data-driven decision skills; advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful reports for multi-cloud platforms for management.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams; drive data insights and partnerships.
• Support FinOps with goals/KPIs, data retrieval and modeling.
• Map data processes with Cloud Governance for a single data source.
• Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs.
• Provide cost optimization recommendations.
• Create and maintain month-end and quarter-end reports.
• Apply Agile planning and execution.
• Leverage tools to enable data-driven decisions.
• Gather requirements for automation projects and explore solutions.
