Job summary

Vans is seeking an experienced FinOps Analyst to join our Cloud Governance team. You will drive financial optimization, support cost-efficient decisions, and collaborate across departments to develop strong FinOps policies and controls.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses, and financial reporting while building advanced models and dashboards for stakeholders. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or cloud finance/accounting and controls.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, cloud operations, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis to identify cost trends, variances, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies.
• Monitor budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for performance reviews.
• Conduct complex cost-benefit analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports for application owners and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards.
• Lead financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Mentor internal teams in FinOps education and transparency.
