Empower Retirement seeks a Lead Analyst, Cloud FinOps to oversee financial management of enterprise data platforms, tracking budgets, expenses, and renewals, with emphasis on cloud cost visibility and optimization.

You will partner with technology, procurement, and finance teams to develop dashboards, models, and insights that guide cost-aware decisions and future cloud investments. Strong Excel and cloud cost experience are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years Cloud FinOps experience or finance management of cloud/data platforms.
• Strong proficiency with Excel to organize, reconcile, and model financial information.
• Experience managing budgets, expenses, forecasts, run rates, contracts, or other metrics.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure/Google Cloud, especially cost management and usage reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple data sources.
• Ability to collaborate across technology, finance, procurement, and leadership teams.
• Clear communication of financial info, trends, and recommendations to tech and non-tech audiences.
• Ability to work independently and establish repeatable processes in changing environments.
• Curiosity and attention to detail about tech usage and financial outcomes.

Mansioni

• Manage and maintain financial reporting for enterprise data platforms, including budgets, expenses, forecasts, run rates, and other cost metrics.
• Build and maintain an inventory of platform expenses, cloud consumption, contracts, licenses, and renewals.
• Analyze spend against budget, identify variances and trends, provide insights into cost drivers.
• Monitor cloud costs with focus on AWS, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Consolidate financial and usage info from multiple teams to present a complete view of platform costs.
• Partner with tech leaders, procurement, finance, and other stakeholders to validate assumptions and support decisions.
• Develop spreadsheets, reports, dashboards, and financial models for leadership use.
• Support contract/license planning by monitoring renewals and anticipated needs.
• Provide recommendations on cost controls, budgeting processes, and platform economics.
• Expand reporting across additional data environments as needs mature.
