Empower Retirement is seeking a Lead Analyst, Cloud Financial Operations to manage financial reporting for enterprise data platforms, budgets, and cloud spend. You will collaborate with platform leaders, procurement, finance, and technology teams to provide visibility and actionable insights.

The role emphasizes AWS cost management, forecasting, renewals, and cost control, with opportunities to optimize platform economics as the organization scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IS, Analytics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years Cloud FinOps or cloud cost management experience.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience managing budgets, expenses, forecasts, and contracts.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud cost reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial reporting for enterprise data platforms' budgets and run rates.
• Inventory platform expenses, cloud usage, contracts, and renewals.
• Analyze spending vs budget and identify cost drivers.
• Monitor AWS costs and improve efficiency and consumption.
• Develop dashboards and financial models for leadership.
• Support license planning and renewal dates.
