Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a Cloud Financial Analyst in White Plains, NY, to drive cloud spend visibility and optimization. You will analyze AWS and other platforms, build dashboards, and identify savings opportunities to influence budgeting and forecasting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in FinOps or IT finance, strong Excel/data visualization skills, and experience with cost-management tools. Onsite in New York state, with a full-time role and direct-hire status.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or IT finance.
• Strong understanding of cloud pricing and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience with AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and track cloud spend across AWS and other platforms.
• Build dashboards and reports to highlight cost trends and usage.
• Identify savings opportunities (rightsizing, reservations, usage optimization).
• Partner with engineering and finance to improve forecasting and budgeting.
• Establish cost governance practices and support chargeback/showback models.
• Drive automation of reporting and cost management processes.
