Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Services Analyst to collect and analyze data for cloud financial insights within our Infrastructure and Operations organization. You will produce reports for multi-cloud platforms, collaborate with global teams, and support FinOps with KPIs and data modeling.

Ideal candidates have a strong analytics background, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, MIS, or data analytics.
• +5 years IT experience in IT Finance, Business Analytics or PM.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and FinOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful reports for multi-cloud platforms for management action.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to drive data insights.
• Support FinOps with goals/KPIs, data retrieval and modeling.
• Map data flows with Cloud Governance to create a single data source.
• Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs and provide optimization recommendations.
• Create and maintain month-end and quarter-end reports.
• Use Agile planning and execution for projects.
