Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Services Analyst to collect and analyze data to provide cloud financial insights within our Infrastructure and Operations organization. You will build and share reports that inform leadership and cross-functional teams worldwide.

Responsibilities include producing insightful multi-cloud reports, supporting FinOps with KPI setting and data modeling, forecasting cloud hosting costs, and recommending cost optimization strategies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, MIS, or data analytics.
• +5 years of IT experience in business analytics, project management, or IT finance.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful reports for multi-cloud platforms for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to drive data insights.
• Support FinOps with KPI setting, data retrieval and modeling.
• Map data flows with Cloud Governance to create a single data source.
• Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs and provide optimization ideas.
• Create and maintain month-end and quarter-end reports.
• Apply Agile planning and execution to initiatives.
• Use tools and technology to drive data‑driven decisions.
• Gather requirements for targeted automation projects.
