Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Services Analyst to collect and analyze data for cloud financial insights within the Infrastructure and Operations organization. You will produce reports for multi-cloud platforms and partner with global teams to drive data-driven decisions.

You will support FinOps, map data flows with Cloud Governance, forecast costs, and provide optimization recommendations. Requires strong Excel skills, cloud platform experience, and a data analytics mindset.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, MIS, or data analytics.
• +5 years of IT experience in IT (Business Analytics, Project Management, IT Finance).
• Experience working with multiple internal teams to deliver customer-focused insights.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful reports for multi-cloud platforms for Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to drive data-driven results.
• Support FinOps with goals/KPIs, data retrieval and modeling.
• Map data processes with Cloud Governance to create a single data source.
• Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs and provide optimization recommendations.
• Create and maintain month-end and quarter-end reports.
• Use Agile planning for project execution.
• Leverage tools to enable data-driven decisions.
• Gather requirements for automation projects considering fit, skills, costs and long-term strategy.
