Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Services Analyst to collect and analyze data to provide cloud financial insights for an Infrastructure and Operations organization. You will produce reports for multi-cloud platforms and partner with global teams to turn data into actionable insights.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and a background in IT analytics/FinOps.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, MIS, or data analytics.
• +5 years of experience in IT (Business Analytics, Project Management, IT Finance).

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful reports for multi-cloud platforms for management action.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to drive data insights.
• Support FinOps with goals/KPIs, data retrieval and modeling.
• Partner with Cloud Governance to map data flows for a single data source.
• Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs.
• Provide cost optimization recommendations.
• Create and maintain month-end and quarter-end reports.
• Apply Agile methodology to planning and execution.
• Use tools to support data-driven decisions.
• Gather requirements for targeted automation projects and assess fit and cost.
