Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Services Analyst to collect and analyze data to provide cloud financial insights for an Infrastructure and Operations organization. You will create insightful reports across multi-cloud platforms and drive data-driven decisions for cost optimization.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, MIS, or data analytics.
• +5 years of IT experience in Business Analytics, Project Management, IT Finance.
• Strong analytical background and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful reports for multi-cloud platforms for Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to convert requirements into data insights.
• Support FinOps by setting goals/KPIs, retrieving data and modeling.
• Partner with Cloud Governance to map data processes for a single data source.
• Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs and provide optimization recommendations.
• Create and maintain month-end and quarter-end reports.
• Use Agile methodologies for planning and execution.
• Leverage tools to drive data-driven decisions.
• Gather requirements for automation projects, assess fit, costs, and long-term strategy.
