Job summary

ASML is seeking a Cloud Optimization Engineer to drive FinOps across the US DFS team. You will manage hybrid cloud spend, provide cost insights via Flexera, and lead cost-optimisation initiatives to balance efficiency and performance.

Role requires 5+ years in FinOps, hands-on experience with Azure/GCP, and strong stakeholder communication. A flexible hybrid work model up to two remote days is available in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Data Analytics/Science, Accounting, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years experience in FinOps with focus on Cloud Financial management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) and cost management tools (Flexera preferred).
• Strong understanding of cloud pricing models and commitment management.
• Analytical mindset; translate data into actionable insights; excellent stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid cloud spend for private on-prem and public cloud workloads.
• Provide cloud cost data accuracy via Flexera for US budgeting and reporting.
• Recommend cost saving measures and drive cloud resource optimization.
• Deliver monthly dashboards showing cost, utilization, and performance to stakeholders.
• Coordinate DFS US financial reporting based on actual and committed expenditures.
