Job summary

ASML Holding in San Diego, CA, seeks a Cloud Optimization Engineer to lead FinOps activities, drive cost transparency, and optimize cloud spending across both private and public clouds. The role collaborates with cloud architects, engineers, and finance to align budgets with strategic goals.

Responsibilities include delivering monthly dashboards, establishing cost controls, and guiding the Cloud Cost Management Community. On-site presence is required with potential flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Data Analytics/Science, or related field (for Cloud Financial Manager roles). Master’s preferred
• 5+ years experience in FinOps, with focus Cloud Financial management
• Hands on experience with cloud platform (Azure/GCP) and cost management tools (preferably Flexera)

Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid cloud spend for private cloud/on-prem and public cloud workloads
• Provide cloud cost data accuracy and governance via Flexera
• Deliver monthly cost, utilization, and performance dashboards to stakeholders
• Develop forecasting models for future cloud spend and budgeting
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize cost/performance trade-offs
• Translate usage into financial impact for business decisions
