Job summary

KBR is seeking a Cloud Enterprise Architect to support a Chantilly, VA engagement. The role focuses on enterprise cloud guidance, architecture governance, and lifecycle alignment for mission systems in a highly classified environment.

The ideal candidate will guide technical strategy, cloud adoption, and emerging technologies, while coordinating across government stakeholders and solution teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 7+ years of relevant DoD/IC cloud/enterprise IT experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise system architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure architectural consistency, interoperability, and integration across enterprise cloud solutions and mission systems.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce architectural governance frameworks and ADRs.
• Lead security architecture reviews and RMF/compliance assessments across cloud platforms.
• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes and ensure alignment with RMF and continuous monitoring.
• Provide technical advisory support to government stakeholders on architecture strategy and cloud adoption.
• Contribute expertise in SE lifecycle, MLOps, and Data Mesh architectures.
