Job summary

Pathward is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to optimize, automate, and support our AWS environments. You will provision and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating with Architecture, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.

We operate as a hybrid workplace with onsite locations nationwide and remote flexibility. The role requires hands-on AWS experience, IaC skills with CloudFormation or Terraform, and a collaborative approach to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch.
• Security best practices and IAM/network security.
• Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Strong communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a hybrid/remote-office setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, and engineering teams.
• Monitor cloud resource consumption and security posture.
• Maintain automation, deployment pipelines, and on-call rotations.
• Provide support for high availability and disaster recovery.
