Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to optimize, automate, and support our AWS cloud environments. You will provision, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security, collaborating with Architecture and DevOps teams.

Responsibilities include designing AWS cloud solutions, monitoring resources and security posture, and implementing IaC with CloudFormation or Terraform. On‑call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
• AWS expertise with hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of IAM, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs and networking.

Responsibilities

• Creates cloud strategy and adapts it to the organization.
• Designs, plans, maintains, and supports AWS cloud environment.
• Monitors cloud resources, performance, and security posture; evaluates cloud solutions.
