Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT professional to design, implement, and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments in a hybrid cloud setting. The role emphasizes stability, performance, and policy compliance across enterprise deployments.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of Citrix-based solutions
Ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of Citrix environments
Design, configure, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply corrective actions
Manage user profiles and policies using Citrix Profile Management
Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations of Citrix infrastructure components
Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure compliance with security policies
Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell
Provide technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
Work closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, and vendors
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Three (3) years of experience supporting enterprise cloud environments
Foundational knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Citrix environments
Experience with virtualization platforms
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS) and hybrid deployments
Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher certification preferred
Experience with monitoring tools
