Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a senior Citrix SME to lead the design, implementation, automation, and ongoing ownership of a large Citrix Server 2025 environment in Minneapolis. You will serve as the primary technical authority for Citrix initiatives, including Azure migration, DR, image lifecycle management, and platform modernization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Citrix engineering and architecture experience.
• Deep expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud, MCS, and PVS.
• Strong experience deploying Citrix solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience supporting large-scale non-persistent VDI environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, Azure networking, storage, and compute services.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Proven experience with disaster recovery design and implementation.

• Automate Citrix image lifecycle management, including monthly image updates, OS patching, and application layer deployments.
• Build and maintain machine catalogs, provisioning processes, and application delivery services.
• Partner with cloud, network, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex Citrix infrastructure and user experience issues.
• Create architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) or Citrix Certified Expert (CCE).
• Experience with enterprise-scale environments and cloud migration initiatives.
