Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC seeks a Cloud Engineer Associate in Milwaukee to design, implement, and optimize client cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure and 365 environments.

You will work on migrations, automation via Infrastructure as Code, and security improvements, collaborating with a team of cloud and infrastructure professionals to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related field preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; 5 years preferred.
• Experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure in consulting, managed services, or enterprise cloud environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation, support, and maintenance of client cloud infrastructure solutions using modern cloud engineering and IaC practices.
• Configure and support Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and related cloud technologies.
• Participate in cloud, tenant, workload, and infrastructure migrations, including planning, testing, cutover support, validation, and transition activities.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements, current-state environments, dependencies, and project considerations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assess cloud and virtual infrastructure environments and provide recommendations for modernization, optimization, performance improvements, security enhancements, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor cloud and virtual infrastructure environments and assist with troubleshooting availability, performance, authentication, configuration, backup, synchronization, and security-related issues.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, source control, and DevOps tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including environment inventories, migration plans, procedures, runbooks, test results, and transition materials.
• Apply cloud security, identity management, governance, compliance, monitoring, and change management practices.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams to communicate status, resolve issues, support knowledge transfer, and contribute to successful project outcomes.
