Job summary
CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking a Cloud Engineer to implement, support, and maintain client cloud infrastructure using modern cloud engineering and IaC practices. You will configure and support Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and related technologies, and participate in migrations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required; combination of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience required; 5 years preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Familiarity with identity and access management, cloud networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and security practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and documentation skills.
- Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, VMware, or related cloud/virtualization certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation, support, and maintenance of client cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Configure and support Microsoft 365 and Azure, identity, networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and related cloud technologies.
- Participate in cloud, tenant, workload, and infrastructure migrations (planning, testing, cutover, validation, transition).
- Gather and document business and technical requirements and current-state environments under guidance.
- Assess cloud and virtual environments and recommend modernization, optimization, and security improvements.
- Monitor environments and assist with troubleshooting availability, performance, authentication, configuration, backup, synchronization, and security issues.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement using IaC, scripting, source control, and DevOps tools.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (inventories, migration plans, procedures, runbooks, test results, transition materials).
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams to communicate status and resolve issues.
