CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking a Cloud Engineer to implement, support, and maintain client cloud infrastructure using modern cloud engineering and IaC practices. You will configure and support Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and related technologies, and participate in migrations.

Assist with the implementation, support, and maintenance of client cloud infrastructure solutions using modern cloud engineering and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Configure and support Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and related cloud technologies. Participate in cloud, tenant, workload, and infrastructure migrations, including planning, testing, cutover support, validation, and transition activities. Gather and document business and technical requirements, current-state environments, dependencies, and project considerations under the guidance of senior engineers. Assess cloud and virtual infrastructure environments and provide recommendations for modernization, optimization, performance improvements, security enhancements, and operational efficiency. Monitor cloud and virtual infrastructure environments and assist with troubleshooting availability, performance, authentication, configuration, backup, synchronization, and security-related issues. Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, source control, and DevOps tools. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including environment inventories, migration plans, procedures, runbooks, test results, and transition materials. Apply cloud security, identity management, governance, compliance, monitoring, and change management practices. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams to communicate status, resolve issues, support knowledge transfer, and contribute to successful project outcomes.
Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 5 years of experience preferred. Infrastructure or cloud engineering experience in a consulting, managed services, or enterprise cloud engineering environment preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies. Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, cloud networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and security practices. Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and documentation skills. Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, VMware, Nutanix, or related cloud and virtualization certifications are preferred.
