Job summary

OMES in Oklahoma City is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and security services. The role reports on site and offers a full-time schedule with competitive salary up to $87,500 based on education and experience.

You will manage identity and access with Entra ID, implement Zero Trust, build IaC with Terraform/Bicep, and collaborate with security and application teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including networking, compute, containers, monitoring, and automation.
• Deep understanding of Entra ID and identity security concepts.
• Experience implementing Azure AD B2C with custom journeys and integrations.
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Experience with cloud security tools Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure.

• Develop and maintain Azure AD B2C tenant configurations.
• Build IaC solutions with Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, or Azure DevOps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize cloud resources for availability, cost, security.
• Collaborate with security teams on Zero Trust and cloud security.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis.
• Partner with app teams on secure authentication patterns.
• Contribute to cloud architecture, governance and documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
