Job summary

Guardian Life is offering a 2027 Guardian Summer Intern in Digital & Technology – Cloud & DevOps. This paid 10-week program includes real-world projects, leadership exposure, and collaboration across offices.

Interns will deploy apps and infrastructure, learning enterprise cloud offerings with support from mentors. You are a current undergraduate student in software development, CS, or related field, with housing not provided, and a rolling application review through 2026.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Willingness to collaborate with a broad range of subject matter experts across the organization.
• Curiosity and the ability to research complex technical problems and arrive at solutions.
• Passion for learning and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Be a self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get things done, with high energy and strong work ethic.
• Learn Guardian’s enterprise cloud offerings and solutions.
• Get exposure to strategies for delivering large-scale infrastructure needs.
• Gain hands-on experience with deploying applications and infrastructure using enterprise-grade platforms.
• Work with mentors and leaders across the organization to develop professionally.
• Learn Guardian’s purpose, values and product/service offerings.
