Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cloud Engineer to design and maintain mission-critical cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. You will optimize workloads, manage Kubernetes clusters, and collaborate with teams on patching, security, and capacity planning.

You'll analyze incidents, support multi-classification deployments, and ensure DoD 8570 IAT II compliance while leveraging tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jira, and Confluence to keep systems reliable and secure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• 5+ years DevOps (Ansible,Chef,Puppet, IaC)
• 5+ years cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• 5+ years Windows Server and/or Linux admin
• 3+ years identity management tools (AD, AWS IAM)
• 3+ years deploying containerized apps (Jira, Confluence, Mattermost, GitLab)
• 3+ years PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
• Understanding of networking principles
• Experience with RHEL
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+)

Responsibilities

• Provide deployment, support, and maintenance for cloud systems and environments
• Manage day-to-day cloud operations, monitoring, and incident resolution
• Collaborate with support teams on workload management, patching, and onboarding
• Optimize resource usage, perform capacity analysis and planning
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback on escalated tickets
• Support deployment of applications across multiple classification levels
• Assist requirements to capabilities analysis and implementation
