Job summary

Varmoda, a federal IT solutions provider, is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to serve as a SME in credential management systems with a focus on Intercede MyID and PKI. You will engineer, troubleshoot, and support cloud-based services while collaborating with development, security, and infrastructure teams to maintain secure, scalable automation.

You will work onsite in Washington, DC, providing advanced engineering and operations support for cloud-hosted applications, primarily on AWS, and

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of IT/engineering experience, including 1–2 years cloud support.
Hands-on experience with credential management systems including Intercede MyID and HID solutions.
Experience troubleshooting drivers, middleware, and credentialing software.
Experience with Windows environments and DBA tasks for credentialing systems.

Responsibilities

Provide infrastructure, engineering, and operational support for cloud-hosted applications.
Support environments running on AWS.
Use Terraform and Ansible to manage and automate cloud systems.
Design and maintain CI/CD automation workflows across services.
Automate provisioning and setup of new environments for testing, staging, and production.
Implement deployment automation and packaging for applications.
Establish monitoring, baselines, and proactive alerting for incident management.
