Job summary

M & D Mechanical Contractors, a Phoenix-based HVAC solutions provider, is hiring a Cloud Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based databases for our applications and systems. This role collaborates with the IT team to ensure security, efficiency, and scalability while improving performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in database development, strong SQL and database design skills, and hands-on experience with AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in database development, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
• Experience with cloud-based database technologies (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP SQL).
• Familiarity with database security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based databases for applications and systems.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure databases are secure, efficient, and scalable.
• Monitor database performance and optimize speed and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
