Job summary

Google is seeking a Customer Engineer in Atlanta, GA to accelerate customer success by delivering domain-specific technical expertise in Google Cloud data management and migrations. You'll collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to design, prototype, and present cloud data solutions, addressing migration roadmaps and performance optimization for large-scale customers.

You will travel to customer sites and events as needed, engage with executives, and help customers leverage Google Cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience architecting data transformation, migration, governance strategies, high availability, or disaster recovery.
Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand objections, and develop strategies to resolve blockers.
Share storage and database expertise to support customer relationships, including POC work and product interfacing.
Demonstrate and prototype integrations with Google Cloud products in customer environments.
Propose integration strategies, architectures, and infrastructure for complete Google Cloud solutions.
Travel to customer sites and events as required, representing Google Cloud publicly.
