Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to turn data and AI into scalable, reliable production systems. You will own workstreams, guiding architecture from ingestion to production while aligning with client needs and budgets.

You will lead cross-functional squads across data engineering, software, and governance, design cloud platforms (Azure focus) and Kubernetes, implement Terraform-based automation, and drive quality with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven record operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with Terraform, SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate business requirements into architecture, pipelines, models or production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from raw source through data pipeline, model/analysis and production handoff.
• Automate, optimize and drive efficiency in processes and tools across cross-functional teams.
• Remain hands-on: observable code and version-controlled development.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high availability and performance.
